The Forest Public Library is here to serve you; whether it is for a school report, general interest in
a subject or the pleasure of reading, we would like to assist you.
In addition to books, audio and video tapes, magazines and newspapers the Library also offers the public these services: Photocopying, Fax, Internet Access, Computer, Typewriter, InterLibrary Loan, Meeting Room, StoryTime, Programs When applying for your free Library Card you must bring identification with a current address. (If your identification does not include your current address, you should bring a utility bill that you have received at your new address.) Your Library Card allows you to take advantage of all 20 Libraries in our four county system. Books and audio tapes are checked out for 3 weeks, with the exception of best sellers or books in high demand. These are checked out for 1 week. Fines for over due books and audio tapes are $.10 per day per book. Videos are checked out for 2 days at no charge. Fines for overdue videos are $1.00 per day per tape. Books and tapes may be renewed by phones to avoid fines. Materials, unless on Reserve List, may be renewed twice. Call 469-1481 during regular Library hours or call 825-5450 any time for our automated service. (You must have a barcode and pin number to access your account) The Library maintains Reserve Lists for material in high demand. If you wish to reserve a book, notify anyone at the circulation desk. You may also access our catalog online at http://www.cmrls.lib.ms.us and click on Rosie's Web to reserve or request a book from your home computer. Please bring YOUR Library Card every time you visit the Library! Join us each Tuesday for Preschool Storytime at 10:30 a.m. Help your child discover the joy of books with books, stories, fingerplays, songs and crafts. Ages 3 - 5. Free.
