| Congratulations to Rashard Anderson-Burgess and Todd Pinkston on being chosen in the National Football League Draft on Sunday, April 16 2000.  Both are 1995 graduates of of Forest High School and are the highest drafted Scott County football players in history.  Rashard was noted as being one of the best cornerback not only in the SWAC (South Western Athletic Conference) but in the nation.  Todd, set school records at USM and was one of most underated recievers in the nation.  Got his deserved recognition after a standout senior year. Both Todd and Rashard are products of the Forest Public School Systems and both are positive reflection of a mutual effort between home, school and church in developing young men. Family members have provided support to the positive development of Todd and Rashard. These young men are seen as positive role models for youth and display virtues and values that bring pride to our community. Not only are they shining examples on the football field, they are positive examples in the area of academics as well both have very good grade point averages and both are recognized as having brawn and brain power.
